14/12/2018 Duration: 08minThe Bad, Old and Useless Online Ads I just finished listening to an ad on Instagram and it was the most ridiculous Ad I've heard in a long time. That has to end, and advertisers need to think outside the box. Please listen to the episode to know more

Social Media Strategies for the US Military with Social Media Mentor Jenny Hale
10/12/2018 Duration: 47minAnother great interview where Quin Amorim and Jenny Hale talk about Social Media Jenny Hale is a social media mentor for the US military. Jenny started her career working with the military community and over time she realized she wanted to help more. Jenny lived in the barracks, she rappelled down towers, and even took pictures inside the gas chamber! So much that after college and being a photojournalist, Jenny attempted to enlist, more than once! But unfortunately, due to some childhood medical issues, that would prevent her physically to do what she needed and wanted to do, Jenny was not accepted. But, since Jenny Hale fell in love with the military and found her purpose, she was not going to give up that easy. She couldn't walk away, she had a purpose, so she had to work with the military and makes sure its more than a 24-hour job. Now she pivoted and found a way to do what she wants, around who she wants. This is such a great interview with Jenny Hale, that I recommend listening, rather than

How do I know which Amazon sellers to buy from | E.p. #213
06/12/2018 Duration: 08minSeveral Amazon Sellers When a product is sold by numerous Amazon sellers, how do I know which is the best one to buy from? Quin Amorim's answer: You don’t need to choose! If there are several sellers on the listing, Amazon will award the “buy Box” to the cheapest and the one in stock at their FBA warehouse. This means you don’t have to pick, just click the buy now button (or add to cart) and Amazon will ship you the product. The product being sold is the exact same, no matter who the seller is, so, in reality, the best is always the cheapest. Reading the reviews will be completely useless (in this case) because the reviews are for the product and not for the seller. Just click “Add to cart” and let Amazon choose the cheapest for you. Don’t worry, you are 100% safe with Amazon, and if anything is wrong with your order they will refund you 100% of the value every time.

05/12/2018 Duration: 08minSelling Food Products on E-commerce Websites Selling Food Products on E-commerce question from Kanchana: I'd like to get advice on e-commerce. I have a product that I would like to start selling online. The product is food-related Quin Amorim's answer: Hi Kanchana, Excited to be connected with you on LinkedIn Career Advice. The easiest and fastest way to launch any product online is on Amazon (for now) Amazon will charge you 15% of the gross sales, but in return, they already have 360 Million users with credit cards on file :) When launching a food product there are several things that you should know. - You need to know for sure that the product is safe for human consumption - You'll need to have a label with a description, quantity, ingredients, expiry date, name and address of manufacturer or distributor, directions of use, nutrition facts and even storage instructions - Product liability insurance (this can cost a couple thousand bucks per year, but if you are selling in the US, there are risks

Amazon FBA BlackHat | E.p.#210
28/11/2018 Duration: 06minBlackhat techniques from some Amazon sellers Here are a couple of the latest black hat techniques being used in the Amazon FBA marketplace. Both involve your listings that ran out of stock. Sellers that have software that tracks out of stock listings, then they create a variation of the product in that listing (even if the product is not even slightly related) This way they can create variations of the existing listing and keep all existing reviews.

How was your first attempt at dropshipping? | E.p. #209
24/11/2018 Duration: 08minHow was your first attempt at dropshipping? My first attempt at DropShipping was over 20 years ago back in 1997. I would go to a store that sold handmade wooden statues and I would take pictures with my camera (smartphones didn't have good cameras). Then I would upload the pictures to eBay USA and try to sell the items for 2 or 3 times the price. When someone would buy my item I would run back to the store and buy it, then ship it to the customer. The reality is that every item was unique, and often I would get to the store and the item I wanted had been sold! lol It took 10 more years until people started talking about it all over social media, and finally, some tools started to be developed.

Amazon FBA Consulting and Account Management | E.p. #208
23/11/2018 Duration: 07minAmazon FBA Consulting and Seller Central Account Management Amazon FBA Consulting Done Right I often get asked if Amazon FBA is too saturated, or if it is still worth it to launch new FBA products on Amazon USA. Well, I have some great news to share today about one of the Amazon Accounts I manage. Trevor handed his account to me in 4 months ago when it was doing $10k per month with 2 products. Over the last 4 months, I removed one of his losing products, launched 2 more and today he is doing a bit over $50K per month. This goes to tell, that Amazon still has a ton a space to grow, a ton of space for new products and a ton of space for new sellers. With that being said, it is true that there are a lot more sellers and a lot more products all competing for the first-page rank. The important thing is to have a different product than everyone else, a quality product, a brand, an eye-catching product and of course a perfect listing and a great product launch. Yes, it is easier said than done, but the realit

Bad Marketing Techniques That Kill Trust | E.p. #206
16/11/2018 Duration: 10minBad Marketing Techniques That Kill Trust Today Quin talks about some Bad marketing techniques or strategies that should not be used because they are killing conversion and destroying trust with your costumers or followers. One of the black hat marketing strategies he talks about is the furniture giant The Brick, sending letters in the mail with a credit card attached announcing 0% interest when the truth is the interest rate is 37%!!! Quin also mentioned that these marketing techniques are similar to the ones that killed Godaddy from being number one to being the most hated domain registry on the internet. From fake add to carts and subscriptions to requesting payment for your email and phone number to be private, while every other register provides that for free. How I buy and sell Wholesale on Amazon FBA | E.p. #204
14/11/2018 Duration: 17minWholesale on Amazon FBA I didn't get any advice because when I started there were no free gurus! But I've learned that every company wants to sell! If you tell them (or show) you can sell, everyone will let you sell their products. Always make sure to get at least 45% off retail value and always aim from products that sell for over $19 (because of fixed fees) If the retail price is below $19 then bundle 2 or bundle it with a similar product. For shy people, start with emails. If you are a good talker, make phone calls. Ask for a sales manager, their job is to sell, so they will understand where you are coming from. Let them know you have a "professional" amazon seller account (we know everyone has a pro account, but they don't) Let them know you pay upfront (some companies say no, assuming you want net 30 payment). After 6 or 7 orders you may ask for some payment terms. Find products that the manufacturer sells themselves, but are not Prime (since they have distribution they do FBM instead of FBA) you

Amazon FBA PPC Campaigns ACOS Limits Your Growth. | E.p. #202
09/11/2018 Duration: 15minHow ACOS can limit your growth. I see many people on the Amazon Facebook group post screenshots of their PPC campaigns with low ACOs and I can never get anything as low as their 2% or $% or even 10%. Any tips to help me lower my campaigns ACOS? I believe that ACOS is limiting most seller's growth. what I mean by this is that most people keep a close eye on their campaign acos, and that is very deceiving. The campaign's acos is the average advertising cost of sales of ALL your keywords in that campaign. But people forget that advertising will get you paid sales and organic sales growth. By turning on a PPC campaign with the word "Bluetooth speaker" you will be paying to show up on the first page for that search term, but everytime someone clicks on your listing and buys your speaker, your relevancy score for that keyword will increase, therefore giving you more organic reach. Amazon's algorithm works just like all any social media platform's algorithms. They get excited with engagement. The more engagement

Giving free content for years, earns Pat Flynn a Thank you | E.p. #200
04/11/2018 Duration: 07minThank you Pat Flynn Today I want to give credit to someone who helped me growing my online businesses and coming out with a podcast in order to help others myself. Back in 2011, there was an event called FinCon and it was the very first FinCon ever On that stage was a nervous young man, who was also speaking on stage for the very first time of his life. His name is Pat Flynn, and nowadays most online entrepreneurs know Pat since he has helped thousands and he has become an online influencer. Pat also hosts a couple podcasts, The Smart Passive Income Podcast and Ask Pat. I remember wanting to launch my podcast, but every time I hear the recording of my own voice I thought I sounded silly, and at the same time I had a bit of the so-called Impostor syndrome (this is a feeling people have when giving advice or helping others, that sometimes doubt settles in your mind and you start asking yourself, who am I to give advice. and this can be the killer of a podcast, or live videos or even speaking careers.) But
