Selma is a portrait of a man in a country that refuses to take a step forward towards equality. Mank is the story about how Citizen Kane, one of the greatest movies ever made was written. (Go listen to our episode about Citizen Kane!) While plot may not be the most exciting, technically Mank is outstanding. It is a modern made movie, but completely feels like it was made in late 1930, early 1940's.
