The stars of the upcoming film did use their star power to try and get people to donate to the Red Cross to help victims of the hurricane. Since we are the topic of Hurricane Harvey, a couple of breweries have shut down beer production to can drinking water. One such brewery being the AB-InBev brewery, and they are sending, roughly, a half of a million cans of drinking water. Hopefully that will help out. The guys also give

Comixbrew Episode #216: SDCC 2017. Recorded on 7-21-2017. Holy Guacamole Batman! It's San Diego Comic Con this weekend!!!!! So of course, the guys dedicate an entire episode to this holiest of events. The entire show is filled with announcements from SDCC, and this only covers the first half of the CON. There is a very early announcement of a Dr. Doom movie!!!!! Oh yea, get hyped for that. We also got a wonderful Defenders trailer, with a Stan Lee voice over, and if that wasn't enough Defenders for you, don't worry, there was another trailer dropped with even more new footage!!! There was a Krypton trailer revealed as well, but it kind of looks like a dumpster fire, so the guys don't spend too much time on it. There's also an Infinity War poster that was released (and the trailer was leaked, but we won't show you that here). We also got a Runaways release date. Oh man, isn't this just the best time of year?! There is even more news for the world of comics, but that's just way too much to pack into this episo

ComixBrew Episode #210: A Spotlight on Adam West. Recorded on 6/10/2017.   It's a dark day in Gotham folks. This week famed Batman '66 star Adam West passed away. The guys are obviously pretty upset about it. So they decided to dedicate the entire 3rd segment to a great man and an even better Batman. There is some discussion on news this week. Things like a loophole in Indiana law concerning cold beer sales. As well as the uncertainty of the director of Wonder Woman 2. We got our first Black Panther trailer this week. ComixBrew Episode #209: Not My Cap Gerblin. Recorded on 6-3-2017. The studio has been rebuilt, and Josh has been risen from the grave. So it's back to business as usual. This week the guys discuss the new Venom event coming from Marvel comics, and at least one host is on board for the event. The guys  jump from page to the big screen and discuss how well Wonder Woman is doing in theaters, and it is killing it in theaters. It has already set 1 record and is on track to break a second. Not to mention all of the quality reviews it has been getting. It really is the movie to see right now. We wrap up news this week with a troubling story from China. A fake Budweiser warehouse was raided after videos of employees filling beer from a dirty tub went viral.
