  • Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition * Episode 4 S5E4

    28/09/2018 Duration: 08min

Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition Season 5 Episode 4   Today's episode is about giving the post a boost. The best way to do this is to give people a second chance to enter the competition. The psychological aspect is that when you get people to commit to entering something, they want to win.  Go back to your post and say "Wow, thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to enter. We've been blown away by the response. We are going to give everyone a chance to get a second name in by doing ...." There are several options. The first option is to get people to say a magic word, e.g. "book direct" or something else relevant to you. If you have a Facebook messenger chatbot is to go to your settings and add to 'acquire by comments' and when someone puts in the magic word, then your chatbot kicks in and asks people to be part of the VIP club. This means they subscribe to your page and you have the ability to send them messages (to the whole list) at any time that you want. If you don't want to use

  • Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition * Episode 3 S5E3

    26/09/2018 Duration: 07min

Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition Season 5 Episode 3   It has now been 48 hours since the competition went live, and hopefully, because of the actions you have taken, you're up to date with the competition.  Today, I will show you how to get the competition in front of the right people. What I recommend you to do, is to share into 3-5 Facebook groups a day.  If you want to get it out to even more people, which is what today's episode is about, you can start using Facebook ads. What Facebook want, is that when you spend money with them, they just want to put it in front of people who like your page. But what I will show you, and by putting in a little bit more time into, is that you can create an audience that you can put your advert in front of. Go to your Facebook page and in the top right-hand corner, there's a little drop-down, click on it and scroll down, and click Create Ads. It will load up a new page. This is what is called your power-editor. Click the hamburger-link (3 dots) and there are

  • Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition *Episode 2 S5E2

    26/09/2018 Duration: 08min

Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition Season 5 Episode 2   Today's episode is about the post. This is the way you are going to describe what the competition is, you are going to describe how, and make sure that once they've entered the competition, that they comment and engage on the post. You've done the preparations and you've got your prize and your image. Now upload the image to your page. It doesn't matter what time you post it, just do it when you can. What is essential, is the wording. The title is 'Competition Time', so that people instantly know it's a competition. You can also had a few emojis on either side to make it stand out. The next line is where you tell them exactly what they're going to win. Insert business name and say "all you need to do to enter this fantastic competition is like this this post." In the fourth line, say something like "for everyone who wants good karma, make sure you comment below, share, and tag friends."  Once the post has gone live, go into the post, and in the

  • Want to get the most from Expedia? Follow these 3 ultimate ways S4E4

    16/07/2018 Duration: 05min

Boost Hospitality Podcast Season 4 Episode 4   The trick with all the online travel agents and listing sites is to put your information everywhere. These companies invest billions ensuring they are seen first when a potential guest starts their booking process, so if you don’t have a presence on all of the big online travel agents, you are leaving money on the table. I appreciate the fact that you can’t be everywhere all of the time though, so what I did was adopt the 80/20 rule. How does this work? 1. Get listed on all of the online travel agents 2. Monitor the results over 6-12 months. 3. Find out which websites worked the best for bringing in bookings. The end results would help that I would focus on the 20% of websites that are bringing in 80% of the bookings.   To read the full blog, go to: https://boostly.co.uk/want-to-get-the-most-from-expedia-follow-these-3-ultimate-ways/
