Elaine, as got a Facebook group, she's got a fantastic website. She's got a fantastic community, she does monthly meetups. She goes to a lot of events. And I can't think of anybody else better to speak to when it comes to talking about network. Elaine is the host of the holiday let success podcast and she got into hospitality coming up for five years ago now, and her original background was always property since her family have always done at properties, sales, network marketing and customer service.

Boost Hospitality Podcast Season 6 Episode 4   In this episode with Na'im, we will be talking about the Property Management System and Channel Manager and their importance on how it is simplifying the way you run your business. Some service accommodation is slightly more complex than running something like hotel. Now if you've got, you know, food and beverage in the hotel, of course, that adds complexity if you go, swimming pool and fun, as inspired and all of that, but just in terms of if you're doing self catering rooms on the guest house. Or if you're doing service apartments, the issue of service apartments is that you've got multiple units and different locations.

Boost Hospitality Podcast Season 6 Episode 3   The beauty of Outsourcing and VA and with the advancement of the internet is that when you want to hire a member staff, you don't have to hire somebody from the local area. You could but again, you couldn't get the right person of what you need. With the countries like Philippines and India where the state of living and pay is so less and you are able to find a quality member that can do the task you need and for them they can get a job satisfaction. For the most part why I love out sourcing is that I can set a task at 6pm and I know that when I wake up in the morning it is done. Like most people, I did everything. I did the payments, I did the ID check, I did the telephone calls, replying to enquiries by phone call by email by text. You have to be realistic, nobody if gonna be as perfect as you.

Serviced accommodation has become one of the strategies that's blown up on the back of Airbnb, booking.com and that kind of stuff So that's kind of where I come in and that's where I've caught my teeth and in service accommodation and corporate threats when you are looking to take the train in it that you've got from service accommodation weekends and whatnot and you're looking to put theory into practice which is where so many people fall down what tips and advice

Boost Hospitality Podcast Season 6 Episode 1   Jason - worked as commercial planning consultant in London and had a property in London. He became aware of people letting properties on what people calls serviced accommodation, that is typically taking a residential rental property and letting it out on a short term basis. So typically, if you want to rent a property in most landlords and letting agencies, it takes months as minimum. But serviced accommodation is a much shorter period, something that would do one night stay and some properties would do a minimum of two night stays and it is fully furnished and the bills are covered as well. Jason and his team has a total of 185 properties, and mostly are on the north east. Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition Season 5 Episode 6   In this episode, I am going to give you 3 options on how to pick a winner for your competition, and then I will end with the best way to get direct bookings on the back of this competition.  The first option is to go to a website called fanpagekarma.com and insert the URL of your competition on Facebook. It will randomly choose a winner for you. If you choose this method, you should put in the T&C's that that is how you drew the winner. If you want to reward the people who entered the magic word and to get 2 names into the hat, then you can filter down the competition results by anyone that mentioned that in the comments. Just fill in the magic word and it will pick anyone who has mentioned the word as the winner.  The second option takes a little bit more time and it includes a website called random.org. What you do is you tally up all of your likes and comments and all of the second chances. So let's say that number is 1000, you fill that

Boost Hospitality Facebook Competition Season 5 Episode 5   As of right now, your competition will have a weekend of further engagement. Now we're coming into the final part and the likes and comments are starting to slow down.  Now, you're going to go into your post and you are going to engage and with all the comments. Use anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour a day and comment back when people are commenting. Try to strike up a conversation. Ask them when was the last time they were in the area, what they like to do, and thank them for entering. If you're stuck on what to say, just put in a GIF. When you do this, people get a notification that you've commented back and they will be happy.  The final thing you should do is write a comment saying something like "We've got 48 hours until we announce the winner, so this is your last chance to tell your friends and family about this competition. Who knows, if they win, they might bring you along. Tag as many people you can." And don't forget to share in
