Dr. Roshawnna Novellus has always been a life long learner. After earning four degrees, including a doctorate in systems engineering with a minor in finance all while receiving over 600k in scholarships, she remembers her mother saying to her “ok lets take a break, no more school!”  Being a serial entrepreneur, Dr. Novellus recalls on this episode when she started her first business.   With this initial business she worked hard to secure a yearlong contract with a client that would pay her for the year so that she wouldn’t have to struggle developing new business during her first year out on her own. But there was one problem. There was a tricky clause in the contract she signed with the client that allowed the company to void the contract if they found another outside company at a cheaper rate.   She ended up losing the contract.
