It is one thing to stretch the truth a bit in order to get information. It is an entirely different thing when laws are broken in a blatent fashion. It is also amazingly dumb to have your admission caught on tape. What happens when that tape makes it to the internet and is available for anyone to listen to? I was in shock and horror when I listened to the recording. I also found great humor in it, if you are a technical wiz you should not say "oh this doesn't autocomplete like GoDaddy". Today on the program I will be talking to Tim Morse of the the Mangoes. They have just released their self titled debut almum and it is fair to say that it is an absolute delight. While most artists love to stick in a particular genre these guys know no bounds. Are they 60's pop, 70's prog, 80's rock? I don't know. But they sure are fun to listen to. Please joinus and listen in for what I am sure is going to be an interesting interview, we will also be playine some tracks from the album. The Mangoes first album is really a rock opera and we've used different genres of music, instrumental interludes and guest musicians/vocalists to help tell the story. While the story takes a serious turn at the end we want the listeners to know that the whole thing is very tongue in cheek. It's just a story and no Mangoes were hurt in the making of it!

The bail bond world is a complex one, far more so than most people realize. This week on the program we will be joined by attorney Bruce Reich. Bruce is the leading light on the legal aspects of the bail bond industry. One subject that we will be discussing is Pre Trial Release and its effect on the industry.Please join us for what I am sure will be a lively discussion.

Lora G and Nikki Lunden are set to release their debut concept album American Stranger. Set for a March release you can get a preview by tuning into the program. Nikki elaborates about the album's concept, “ 'American Stranger' is a complete story from end to end. It was designed to be a sort of 'rock opera' about intolerance and those willing to stand up to it as well as those it's destroying. The central character is 'Mary' (song #7), a young woman who feels isolated, misunderstood and so disconnected from the world 'I want so hard to be set free, from everyone that judges me. I want to live a live someday, a world away from yesterday.' The song 'Mary' is prefaced by '28IF', 'Hear Me' and 'American Stranger'. In the end she overcomes in 'Hush and Whispers': 'Who cares what I am, it's all insane stop trying to change my life.'”

Tuesday marks the new congress starting. One has to wonder if it will be more productive than the last one. Of course you can make the argument that it would be impossible to be worse than the last. I am keeping an open mind.

Our weekly look at the sometimes strange world of the Bail Bond industry. I never know what to expect on the program. A great example was last week. Although the story was most amusing, it offered a great deal of information about the level of danger that a recovery agent can find himself put in.

Betty Craig is no begginer in the publishing world, she has 17 books to er credit. Her latest book is a far cry from the scholarly works she is known for. Downstream is a good old fashioned murder mystery.

It is not even 2015, but already there is a great deal of talk about thge 2016 presidential election. This week Jeb Bush anounced that he is exploring the posibility of maybe running. This definative maybe has feuled a great deal of speculation. Could the Bush family be going for a 'threepete? The dems are being tight lipped about who will throw their hat in the ring, but everone seems to favor Hillary. Bill likes the scheme, the White house is a pretty decent place to live and there are an endless suplpy of interns. Alas the 2016 election will follow the previous ones. it is not about policy, it is all about money. Who can outspend the other on TV? Odd really, most people think they are voting for a person, wrong, you are voting for a label. Join us on the program, as we hear  from a potential presidential candidate who is not afraid of awkward questions.    

This week on the proram we will be looking at the hunt for Bruce Wilkinson.Suspectted of being in the Tampa area of Florida. His list of crimes is long, mostly involving guns and drugs.On the program will be the agents actively involved in the hunt. They might be getting a tad bit cranks as they have not had much sleep for several days

Matthew published two books about his time in Oman working as a teacher of English. My Year In Oman and Aonther Year In Oman. Both are excellent, and both offer a very interesting peek inside the upsides and downsides of working in a country with very different cultural values from America. Matthew writes with humor, and indeed a decade later he probably can see the humor, but I doubt that he smiled a great deal at the time. People who are embarking on a teaching career in Oman or elsewhere in the region should read the books and ask some hard questions of themselves. Travel and adventure sounds great, but cultues can clash.    

Reblicans mange to avod a Government shutdown Most government workers are upset. it could have been another three week paid vacation. The fabled CIA torture report was released. Who was right and who was wrong? Actually the bigger question is does anyone care?

The hunt for missing (presumed not dead) John Charles Price came to an end on Thursday. This story is so bizarre, few people would believe it is true. Join us on air as we go through the saga. He may have eluded the cops, but with a $255,000 bond on his head he certainly did not dodge the Bondsmen looking for him. The TV might have a popular progrm 'The First 48', well this story is about the 'last 48'.

'One More Red Night: Live In Chicago' includes three songs from the iconic landmark album 'Red’; which inspired many musicians including Kurt Cobain. This CD also captures several other well-known songs from the three King Crimson studio albums John Wetton played and sang on, plus their earlier hit “21st Century Schizoid Man”. This is the first release of this recording and features many tracks which are now rarely heard live.
