  • Joyous Film and Concert Music

    01/02/2018 Duration: 02h02min

On this week’s episode of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO, I thought I’d produce an old-school film music mix program. I’ve been producing film music mix programs since my days on Mohawk College Radio. I also have a collection of these mixed bag programs here on the site which you can listen to by going to http://www.cinematicsound.net/category/film-music-mix/ Usually, these film music mix programs don’t have a theme… I just pick random tracks or random albums and play them for a few hours. However, today’s program has a theme! I thought I would present a program that promoted nothing but positivity. A show that makes you feel good. A show that’ll put a smile on your face. So, today program focuses solely on JOYOUS music. Anything goes. Film or concert music. Fanfares and celebrations. Music for fireworks. Music for sports. Triumphant, strong, bold music. Music that will lift your spirit high in the sky and make you forgot for a fleeting moment about anything negative in your life. On the program today you will hea

    24/10/2017

On this week’s episode of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO, I will be celebrating the 21st anniversary of the program. I don’t create suites for every score in my collection but I have roughly 75-80 specially edited suites, which combine multiple cues into one easy to digested track that ranges from roughly 4 minutes in length to as long as 10 minutes. It’s a fun exercise and I hope you enjoy listening to my creations as much as I do. On today’s program you are going to hear 12 of those suites, which features music from THE AVENGERS by Joel McNeely, THE PROMISE by Klaus Badelt, BATMAN FOREVER by Elliot Goldenthal, PAYCHECK by John Powell, THE THREE MUSKETEERS by Michael Kamen, PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF by Christophe Beck, PETER
