10/04/2015 Duration: 01h29minIn Nebraska we just had our primary for the 2015 elections season. We're also moving into the 2016 campaign season. KaliSara and RevKess thought that this would be a wonderful oppoprtunity to talk about your rights as a voter in the United States. With Spell Out the Vote they plan to share information on how to vote, where to vote, why to vote, and how various states in the Union have made it easier (or harder) for people to vote. Everything from the "hanging chad" to Obama's proposal to make voter registration mandatory. In part your hosts will talk about some of the candidates in the 2016 season, but the main focus of the show will be on the voter. What they can and cannot due when it comes to voting. PMP: Shauna Aura Knight, 2015 Festival Season
06/04/2015 Duration: 02h53minShauna Aura Knight once again returns to the Pagan-Musings Podcast to talk with KaliSara and RevKess about things that matter to her, and to much of the Pagan community. Shauna is a ritual facilitator, teacher, author, artist, and presenter at various events in the Midwest and elsewhere. This year she has attended PantheaCon in California, ConVocation and Paganicon in the Midwest. She presented at all three of those events. She also took note of how they addressed, or seeminly ignored, certain issues. In her recent article on Pagan Activist Shauna talks about racism and rape culture in relations to Pagan events. These have both been hot-button issues in the community for some time, especially since the arrest of Kenny Klein in March 2014 (tune in for an update). Editors Crystal Blanton, Brandy Williams and Taylor Ellwood have recently released their essay collection Called Bringing Race to the Table (tune in on 4/26/15 for a conversation with them), as well as presenting the topic at various events. PWN 2015.4.1: Religious Freedom, the good and the bad
03/04/2015 Duration: 01h31minIn the first edition of PWN for the month of April, RevKess and KaliSara will tackle some of the latest news and issues about RFRAs in the United States. These laws are supposed to protect religious freedom, but often tromp on the beliefs and rights of minorities - racial, ethnic, sexual, and religious minorities. Along the way they will address related issues and talk about some of the really good news that is going on in the Pagan world. Religion and politics are often the hot button issues that PWN tackles, but the hosts are also wanting to cover the good that is going on in the world and how it effects the global Pagan community. They'd like to hear from you. Is there an event in your area? a new shoppe opening up? a special mile marker in the life of an individual or institution that you think the listeners would like to know about? Send the hosts an email at paganmusings@gmail.com or contact them via Facebook.

PWN 2015.3.4: Here we go again
27/03/2015 Duration: 01h03minFiguring out what KaliSara and RevKess are going to talk about each week is a chore. One that they take into consideration frequently while browsing the interwebs and catching up on social media. Some of the topics come from mainstream media, many from Pagan media sources, and quite a few are shared by their friends on Facebook. What they pick to talk about and what actually gets talked about are sometimes two very different things. This week is up in the air, as has been the case recently. They await a major news story or a development in something they have been covering, but they also keep their eyes and ears open for what is important to the Pagans around them and that they know via the net. If you have a story, event, project, etc that you would like to hear them talk about on PWN, please send an email to them at paganmusings@gmail.com or drop them a note on the Facebook for PWN.

20/03/2015 Duration: 01h22minKaliSara and RevKess continue the 2015 season of PWN with another open ended topic for the show. This edition of the show may discuss all kinds of issues from the state of affairs with DC politics and how they influence our actions and decisions as spiritually minded people, what is going on in the Middle East with ISIL and their repeated desecration of historical and religious artifacts from centuries and millenia ago, free speech issues in Europe, Ferguson, MO's continued impact on the Black community and the Pagans who are involved in the fight against racism, and so much more. You'll just have to tune in to hear what they decide to talk about with this week's edition of PWN

PWN 2015.3.2: Religion & Politics Make Strange Bedfellows
13/03/2015 Duration: 01h31minOn our March 4th edition of PWN KaliSara made mention of a recent article about a push by faith based and secular non-profits for the IRS to clarify what they can and cannot do in the way of politicing. According to ReligionNews.com on January 29, 2015: "In a rare combined front, leaders of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, Alliance Defending Freedom, Public Citizen and the Center for American Progress met at the National Press Club to discuss ways the tax agency could better help nonprofits know what they can and cannot do under the law." In this edition of PWN RevKess and KaliSara will share their thoughts on this topic and what they think should be allowable under the law in the United States. As we are moving into Presidential campaign season, this could prove to be a very pertinent discussion for some.

PMP: Green Egg, Online Publications and more
09/03/2015 Duration: 02h04minIt was previously announced and scheduled that Hollis Taylor would be joining KaliSara and RevKess for this edition of PMP to talk about Green Egg Magazine and the future of that publication. This has changed. According to a press release from Green Egg: (February 22, 2015) - Green Egg, a popular 47-year-old Pagan magazine founded by Oberon Zell-Ravenheart, has announced that it is returning to publishing as 4 issues per year, instead of going to a blog-only format, as previously announced. The magazine decided to return to its traditional format after hearing from readers that they overwhelmingly preferred quarterly issues. The magazine will remain an online e-zine and will not be published in print. Due to discarding the webzine blog format, Hollis Taylor is no longer publisher. The position of publisher will be co-managed by Sylveey Selu, long-time webmistress for Green Egg, and Ariel Monserrat, the magazine's publisher for the past 8 years. Ariel and Sylveey will be joining the hosts instead and will t

PWN 2015.3.1: Floating in a State of Confusion
05/03/2015 Duration: 01h18minFirst, RevKess and KaliSara would like to apologize for their floating schedule for PWN. Seems that real life keeps creeping in the way of scheduling things during the week. But at least they can still manage to find an hour here and there to share Pagan perspectives on news and issues that are of interest to the Pagan world. Second, with the idea of confusing schedules comes the concept for this episode. Most of the world is floating in a state of confusion about many different issues that have impact on Pagans and non-Pagans alike. What is ISIL's intent in the Middle East and elsewhere? How is the medical community addressing the ongoing pandemics of HIV/AIDS? What do our world leaders really want for the future? That and so much more is being bandied about by politicos, professionals, journalists and armchair activists. In this episode of PWN your hosts will attempt to tackle some of those questions and float around to other similar topics. Third, KaliSara and RevKess always welcome comments and question

PMP: Watch Me Pull a Rabbit Outta My Hat
02/03/2015 Duration: 02h05minRevKess and KaliSara find themselves between interviews and no set plan for this episode. So, to paraphrase the line, "Watch me pull a rabbit outta my hat!" They'll hop along from topic to topic with no real sense of where they are going - or will they? Tune in and find out just how coherent a show they can create the fly. Will they talk spring cleaning? new music? rambling on about crystal weenies and fluffy bunnies? It is anyone's guess - even their's - until it happens.

PWN 2015.2.4: CoG, #BlackLivesMatter, Music & More
27/02/2015 Duration: 01h01minRevKess presents a variety of topics in this edition of PWN. KaliSara and his schedules conflicted too much this week for the two of them to do a live show together, so with some discussion they decided RevKess would do a solo pre-record. In this edition he covers topics ranging from Peter Dybing and the Covenant of the Goddess to #BlackLivesMatter, from independent music projects to a Manifesto from Jason Pitzl Waters and many places in between. Little commentary is presented by RevKess, instead he allows each article or source to speak for itself. Show notes will soon be available for this edition of PWN at PMPChannel.com. Music from this edition includes: 1. River of Time by Ricky Kej and Wouter Kellerman, 2. Okavango by Hennie Bekker, 3. Mystical Mother by Hennie Bekker, 4. Upper Midwest Terrorist Society (and Sewing Bee) by Murphey's Midnight Rounders, 5. Song for Manannan by Celia, and 6. It's a Beautiful Day by Brian Henke.

This week they will broaden their discussion of current events and news to encompass much of the global Pagan community. News from Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, South America and of course from North America will be touched upon. Due to a scheduling conflict, this week's edition is on Wednesday instead of Thursday. The hosts will try to share any other scheduling issues during broadcast, but will continue to post updates in show descriptions for those who prefer to listen live.
