Synopsis

For eight years the Pagan-Musings Podcast Channel has produced weekly content of the Pagan flavor. Continuously growing, PMPC now offers a wide selection of news, views, music, and information to the Global Pagan community.Line-Up: Pagan-Musings Podcast with KaliSara and RevKess, Sundays at 7pm Central. Musica Pagani with RevKess (currently on hiatus). Pagan Weekly News with RevKess and KaliSara, Thursdays at 10pm Central. The Maiden, Mother, and Crone of Green Egg joined the line-up in 2015. Bringing aspects of the magazine to life on the Channel, you can find their live shows on alternating Saturdays.     While KaliSara is presenting at Heartland Pagan Festival this weekend, RevKess will be chatting with new Pagan musician Bran Cerddorion about his debut album, "Four Branches: Tales of the Mabinogi in Song" Bran is a bard at heart, inspired by the realms in which myth, Nature, and dream come together. As a practitioner of Druidry and the Bardic arts, he focuses the creative flow of the Awen into writing songs that promote peace, a reverence for the world around us, and the stories we tell each other, but  not without a touch of humor. He began playing music around 2007-08 when his brother taught him to play the mandolin, and together they wrote and played many a song. He shortly picked up the guitar as he developed an interest in the Paganism, Druidry, and Bardistry, and continues to craft his music in a Celtic-inspired folk tradition.     According to an article on The Wild Hunt dated 5/14/15: "The Great Lakes Naval Recruit Training Command (RTC), where enlisted Navy recruits go for Basic Training, has stopped religious services for six minority religious designations. This includes “Earth-Centered” worship. In place of the weekly community worship service led by a volunteer civilian faith leader, trainees have been told that they will have an hour of private “contemplation and reflection.” In response, Pagan civil rights group Lady Liberty League is working to change what they, and other religious rights groups, consider a discriminatory practice."     Christopher Blackwell has been a solitary Wiccan for thirty years, and currently lives in New Mexico. He began following AREN around 2000, shortly after it changed names from the Witches Anti-Discrimination League (WADL) to the Alternative Religions Educational Network (AREN). The organization was formed in the 1970s by Leo Martello and, for many years, worked for the protection of religious rights. However, the organization had to be dissolved after the Anti-Defamation League threatened a lawsuit over use of the name. Shortly after, AREN was born.
