PWN: Faux news, updates, and more
01/07/2014 Duration: 01h37minAnd we don't mean the joke name for Fox News here. Part of the focus of this edition of PWN is to help listeners to learn to discern real news from fake news. Some might even call this very show fake news because PWN is not a "recognized" news source by the mainstream. That aside, there are hundreds of blogs and websites on the interwebs that perport to give the news. Many are unsourced or at the least do not use any fact checking. The recent postings that the group known as ISIS (or ISIL) has destroyed the archaeological treasures in Nineveh, for example. RevKess has not found any reputable source for such information; instead has found only non-news sites supporting and one blog denying the claim. Where do we turn for the truth in this internet age? That's one thing RevKess and Zaracon will help you find out. There will also be some updates on Beebe, AR and Marion Zimmer Bradley's posthumus sex abuse scandal as well as other Pagan related news.

PMP: MZB, Sex Abuse, a tarnished legend
30/06/2014 Duration: 02h04minTRIGGER WARNING: This episode contains discussion of topics that may be uncomfortable for sensitive listeners. The topic pertains to child molestation, abuse, and other related issues. This episode is rated R, listener discretion is advised. With the recent "news" of Marion Zimmer Bradley's connection to multiple count sof child molestation, KilaSara nd RevKess have decided that it is time to again address abuse in the Pagan world, and elsewhere. MZB was the author of several books including the Darkover series and the Mists of Avalon series. Fifteen years after her death, the "revelation" that she was involved in sex abuse still strikes the Pagan community in a hard way. Walter Breen, the husband of MZB, was a known pedophile and child abuser. You can read sections of her deposition against Breen here. Her daughter Moira Greyland has spoken openly about the abuse she witnessed and experienced. Please refer to the Wild Hunt for more information on the topic. You can view the show notes on PMPChannel.com.

PMP: Beyond the Veil: Using veils and head-coverings in Pagan practice
26/05/2014 Duration: 02h00sIt is not uncommon to find Pagan high priestesses and celebrants wearing something on their heads, be it a full, face-covering veil, a headdress, a hair-covering scarf or shawl, or even a small, tiara-like circlet. This week, Kalisara and RevKess are bringing you a panel discussion: Pagan women from many different paths and beliefs who share the practice of using veils and other head coverings in their ritual and/or daily lives. While we have touched on this topic previously, this time we will hear from those women who practice veiling, discussing the why's, the how's, the when's, as well as the problems that can come from veiling. We will be hearing their stories, many of which embody a quiet strength reflective of the oft-veiled Matron Goddesses.

Special: Oberon, Ariel & Morning Glory
11/05/2014 Duration: 02h10minMorning Glory has returned home at Ravenhaven to be with her beloved Oberon and their many friends and family. She is not long for this realm, but she holds on to complete her life's work: recording the many stories related to her over 300 Goddess figures. On July 16, 2011, Oberon, Morning Glory and Ariel joined RevKess and KaliSara for a conversation on the show. This was around the time that Oberon and Ariel started their series on Pagans Tonight, before Oberon took leave and Ariel moved to another channel.
