DUE TO VARIOUS ISSUES, REVKESS & ZARACON HAVE RESCHEDULED THIS EDITION OF PWN FOR FRIDAY, 22 AUGUST. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE LATE NOTICE. In recent weeks citizens of the United States, especially in Missouri, have gotten a reminder of just how dark the world can be. On PWN we try to cover both the good and the bad with an emphasis on the good. Sometimes it is very hard to find good things to talk about when the media and social networks are plastered with the bad. We'll talk about Ferguson, MO and the turmoil there, but we'll also talk about good things in this episode. RevKess will also talk in brief about his wonderful Tuesday experience with SJ Tucker and Betsy Tinney, both at the radio station and at there recent concert in Lincoln, NE.

KaliSara and RevKess have had this topic a time or three in the past, but they felt it might be enlightening to talk about some of the lesser known Gods and Goddesses honored in the modern (and not so modern) Pagan world. They might start with deities from Africa or Asia, maybe the Middle East. They might jump around the globe and talk about deities that represent certain aspects of every day life. Where they go is anyone's guess, as usually happens with their ramblings..er..musings. You'll just have to tune in to find out for yourself! UPDATE: KaliSara indicated on our show from 10 August that we would be exploring the Gods and Goddesses of South America.

First, we would like to apologize for the time slot confusion. Zaracon and RevKess are working out when is the BEST time for the two of them to do a show together that doesn't have one or the other exhausted or leave the listeners out in the cold. Second, this edition of PWN is about changes. We are in the Harvest season in the United States. That means that things are changing. The days are growing shorter, the crops are ripening (some already under harvest), the weather is (hopefully) turning a bit cooler, soon the leaves on the trees will begin to change color and fall. Change is always around us, but it is only at certain times of year (or certain times in our lives) that we acknowledge those changes

RevKess and KaliSara are thrilled to host Celia on the Pagan-Musings Podcast Channel once again. It has been just over two years since her last visit on Musica Pagani. A lot has happened since then. In this musical edition of Pagan-Musings, Celia will share some of her life, her love, and her music. This is an opportunity for her fans to learn a few things about her and her love of music. Celia also wishes to focus a good portion of the show on her newest CD release Shaman Journey. Celia wrapped up her CD release tour the end of June and is settling down for the next few months in Prescott, AZ, opening up her schedule to interviews, local performances, and interviews like this one. Here at PMPChannel we are always open to suggestions from our listeners as to what they would like to hear us talk about. That said, at the end of a recent episode we asked for ideas from the audience. Among the suggestions was a show about Crystal Magick. We're going to expand that just a bit to include gems, crystals, and other stones - yes, we know that they all fall into the category of "crystal" by some definition or another. Referencing many books, articles, websites, and our own personal experiences with stones of various kinds, in this episode KaliSara and RevKess will bring some insight into how to work with gems, crystals and other stones in your magickal practices. Wether it is the every day use of hematite to ground while at work or the more esoteric use of lapis lazuli in working with Isis, we'll cover many bases and share some of what we know about the magick of crystals, gems, and stones. Crystal Blanton joins RevKess and KaliSara again for a conversation about People of Color in the Pagan world. With the release of her new anthology through Immanion Press/Megalithica Books Shades of Ritual, Crystal and a slew of writers talk frankly about ritual from the persepctive of people of color. Crystal's bio: Crystal Blanton is an activist, writer, priestess, mother, wife, and social worker.  She is an advocate for true diversity and multiculturalism within the Pagan community.  Crystal is the author of Bridging the Gap and Pain and Faith in a Wiccan World, and the editor of Shades of Faith: Minority Voices in Paganism and Shades of Ritual; Minorities Voices in Practice. She also writes for The Wild Hunt, Sage Woman, and Daughters of Eve, a community blog on Patheos.com.  A frequent speaker at Pagan conferences and festivals, and in her professional life, she serves disenfranchised youth in Oakland, California, while studying for a master’s degree in social work at a California State University. Pagan Pride Day season is just about here. The official event season kicks off with Lammas and concludes with Samhain (1 August through 31 October). Every seasons since PWN launched the hosts have spent some time talking about PPD and related events. They plan to do the same this year as well. RevKess and Zaracon will also give you a Pagan perspective on world news, health and science, and updates on stories previously covered on PWN.  Pagan related music and book releases will also be shared.

KaliSara and RevKess have been doing Pagan-Musings Podcast for five years now. At the suggestion of a loyal listener and friend, they decided that on their five year anniversary it would be a good idea to talk about why they started the show, why they continued, and what it means to them. For the past five years they have devoted at least two hours a week, often times much more, to planning and plotting each show and then conducting the interviews and sharing of ideas with you the listener. Nebraska State Legistilature candidate for District 46, James Michael Bowers, joined Corwin and Phil for this week's edition of Lavender Hill. His campaign manager, Daniel Lawhon, joined him on the air. Bowers is the first openly gay candidate to run for the legislature in Nebraska. He's hoping to win the seat that Senator Conrad has to vacate due to term limits. He stands strongly on Nebraska values and has a platform that relfects that as well as his support for the local LGBTQ community. Bowers plans to return to Lavender Hill in late September or October, as the November general election gets closer. Find out more about the Bowers campaign on Facebook. Corwin and Phil host Lavender Hill live every Sunday at 11am Central on KZUM-Lincoln/KZUM-HD (89.3FM in Lincoln, NE). KZUM is Nebraska's first and only community radio station and Lavender Hill is the only LGBTQA news and talk program on radio in Nebraska. In this edition the hosts do a post pride wrap-up. Both attended the street festival for Star City Pride in Lincoln, they sat the table for KZUM. Lots of networking was done and lots of people were met. As a result of their networking, upcoming guests on the showinclude James Michael Bowers (the first openly gay candidate for State Leffislature) and the local rock group Once A Pawn. Corwin and Phil sit the KZUM table every year and are glad to represent the station to the public. RevKess and KaliSara are joined this evening by Terry Michael Riley, founding High Priest of the Southern Delta Church of Wicca - ATC (Aquarian  Tabernacle Church). Founded in 1994, the SDCW-ATC is a Church dedicated to providing fellowship with open membership to Solitaries, Groups. Offering open Esbats and Sabbats. Also offering classes for the those interested in following the path to priesthood or Clergy. The Aquarian Tabernacle Church (ATC) was formed in 1979 by Pete “Pathfinder” Davis as a coven dedicated to providing religious services and support to the larger Wiccan community. The ATC was “the right idea at the right time,” and in a few years grew into the first Wiccan church with full legal status and recognition by the governments of three nations. The ATC now has many affiliated groups sharing the benefits and protections of the ATC recognition “umbrella” through its unique group exemption from the U.S. Treasury. This growth is the result of building a large core group – dedicated Wiccans who s
