On this edition of Lavender Hill Corwin and Phil were joined in the studio by Vadra Stutzman and Buffy Cranford, president and vice president of Lincoln's Star City Pride. This year's theme is "Corn this Way", a play on Lady GaGa's "Born this Way." Star City Pride starts Friday 11 July with a family picnic at First Plymouth in Near South Lincoln followed by a street dance outside the Panic Bar and continues through Sunday with events at the Panic and Karma Club and Cabaret. Saturday starts off with a family friendly Pride in the Park sponsored by Outlinc at Tragor Park followed by a street festival outside the Panic at 4pm with a beer garden and a kid zone. The street festival will include 15 vendors, live entertainment, and speakers from the local LGBTQA community. Lavender Hill will be one of the vendors, representing KZUM and all the wonderful community programming available through the radio station.
