Dr. Eva King is the Senior Scientist and leader of the immunoassay team at Indoor Biotechnologies, Inc., a global leader in allergen detection and prevention. Mac is an environmental health consultant specializing in indoor air quality problems. He has investigated mold in homes, commercial buildings, hospitals, clinics and skyscrapers. Ken Larsen, CR, WLS a restoration industry veteran since 1978 joins the hosts of IAQradio. Dr. Cianciarulo is an Assistant Professor at Carlow University that teaches General Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Science Teaching for Elementary Education Majors, Anatomy and Physiology She received her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Cianciarulo's research interests involve bioremediation, the design of microorganisms to biodegrade environmental contaminants, and fungal contamination in building. She is also interested in gene regulation and expression in cells. Join us as we bring her back for a full hour to discuss all these issue and more on IAQ Radio.

Mr. Offermann has 25 years experience as an IAQ researcher, sick building investigator, mitigation planner, healthy building design consultant, expert witness, technical author, and workshop instructor. He is president of Indoor Environmental Engineering, a San Francisco based IAQ consulting firm. Under Mr. Offermann's supervision IEE has developed both pro-active and reactive IAQ measurement methods and diagnostic protocols. He has been a recipient of State and Federal research grants regarding building air quality and ventilation field studies (e.g. EPA BASE study of IAQ in office buildings and schools), tracer gas techniques, in situ contaminant emission rate measurements, and the development of indoor air quality measurement instrumentation. Prior to starting up Indoor Environmental Engineering, Mr. Offermann was a Staff Scientist with the Building Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Program, Energy and Environment Division, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, Berkeley, CA.

William B. Rose is Research Architect at the Building Research Council-School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His major field of university research involves water and its effects on buildings. He is the author of Water in Buildings: an architect's guide to moisture and mold published in 2005 by Wiley & Sons. This book recently won the Association for Preservation Technology Lee Nelson Award. His current university research projects include sky radiation effects with solar reflective roof surfaces, and combustion product concentrations in houses with unvented combustion appliances. He is the handbook chair of ASHRAE TC4.4, responsible for four ASHRAE Handbook chapters on building envelope performance, and he is a founding member of ASHRAE Standard Committee 160P Design Criteria for Moisture Control in Buildings. Charles E. Gilbert is an epidemiologist and toxicologist and a Principal of the Epidemiology and Toxicology Institute, LLC. Dr. Gilbert's area of expertise is in occupational and environmental health especially in sensitive subgroups such as children. Dr. Gilbert was a founding member and Charter Member of the Environmental Biology and Public Health Section in the American Association of Bioanalysts. He was a Research Assistant Professor Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, School of Public Health, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA. He developed and was Director of the Northeast Regional Lead Training Center, University of Massachusetts from 1992 to 1997, one of six centers established by the U.S. EPA.
