This is the place where the world discusses indoor air quality, the built environment and disaster restoration issues. Every Friday at noon ET the show is live. The shows host are Joe Hughes, President of IAQ Training Institute and Cliff Zlotnik, President of Microban Systems. Every week we interview experts from the indoor air quality, building sciences and disaster restoration industry. As instructors for IAQ and disaster restoration training programs and active participants in industry associations we have the credibility and contacts necessary to bring top industry experts as guests on the show every week. The show is designed to help promote education and communication for industry professionals and consumers in need of assistance with IAQ, built environment and disaster restoration issues.

EPISODE157 - Lisa Nagy, MD -Environmental Medicine & Health
26/02/2010Lisa Nagy, MD was recently interviewed for Nightline because her story is quite incredible, horrific and has a happy ending. She and her husband Wes lived in a home in California which caused she, the dog and Wes to become adrenally insufficient among many other problems that they developed. It was a toxic exposure that led to this, thyroid insufficiency in all of them (both dogs) and muscle weakness in Dr. Nagy and the dogs. One dog developed Myasthenia Gravis and Wes developed Pemphigus Foliaceus â?? both autoimmune diseases possibly induced by this exposure. It is from this personal experience that Dr. Nagy, who was trained in Emergency Medicine, has learned about Chemical Sensitivity and Environmental Medicine and hopes to educate the country about the condition that almost killed her and plagues, to some degree, at least 40% of the population.

EPISODE143 - Alan P. Zelicoff, MD The H1N1 Virus: Fact vs. Fiction
23/10/2009Alan Zelicoff is a physician (board certified in internal medicine 1992, clinical fellowship in rheumatology, 1983) and physicist (A.B., Princeton, 1975), who has had a varied career including clinical practice, teaching, and operations research. In the latter roles, he was Senior Scientist in the Center for National Security and Arms Control at Sandia National Laboratories from 1989 to 2003. Dr. Zelicoff's interests include risk and hazard analysis in hospital systems and office-based practice, and in technologies for improving the responsiveness of public health offices and countering biological weapons terrorism. Dr. Zelicoff has traveled extensively in countries of the former Soviet Union and has led joint research projects in epidemiology of infectious disease, while establishing Internet access at Russian and Kazak biological laboratories. He is the author of numerous text book chapters and articles in these subjects, and is a frequent contributor to Op-Ed pages in the Washington Post and other newspap
