Synopsis

Welcome to Governing Ourselves. We are two libertarian atheists who left the Republican and Democrat parties and who left The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (a.k.a. The Mormon Church). In our weekly podcast, we discuss our histories with these organizations; we also discuss pop culture, books, and current social, political, and religious events through our libertarian-atheist lens. Even though we have broken free from religious and political shackles, we still recognize the need for a masterourselves. This show is dedicated to people who might benefit from our experiences and who seek personal meaning out of life, personal healing, and hope for our society.
