In our final episode, we are delighted to welcome Angela Ballantyne and Sarah Rennie who sat down with Michaela Mullen a Wellington rep on NZMSA to discuss their own experiences with gender in medicine but also discuss the culture of gender within medicine and broader society.

In this episode, Dr. Charlotte Chambers, a principal analyst for the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists (ASMS), shares her research into the rates of presenteeism, burnout, and bullying among senior doctors. Dr Chambers has a strong research interest in understanding why women, who work in medicine are disproportionately affected by burnout and the role of gender more broadly in medical culture.
