Talkin' Video Games

We decided to do another episode discussing the moveset and taunts of SSBB characters, and this time we chose Pikachu. But I mean, his taunts are SERIOUSLY cute... ;P

As the last episode was about Spaceteam, we decided to record us playing it. Yeah. Be prepared to listen to us shouting nonsense like ACTIVATE THE HYDROFLUX! ACTIVATE IT! SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE! For about 8 minutes. XD

Beam me up, Scotty! In this episode, Sam and Dad discuss the mobile co-operative game, Spaceteam. With control panels swinging, blowing up and oozing goo, will they be able to keep their ship together?

In YET ANOTHER Mario game, Sam and Dad discuss the Tanooki Suit, those weird things that you can walk through but still jump on, and difficulty.

In yet another 'Dad-free' episode, Osh returns to the Smash to discuss a rundown of Marth's moveset and playstyle. As an extra long bonus episode, it's pretty cool! Also, try not to kill yourself at Sam's cringy intro...

In the second 'No-Dad' episode, Osh and Sam play Lego Batman again, this time to discuss mechanics of the game such as suits, transformations, character switches, boss fights and vehicles.

In this (one day late) episode, Sam and Dad play Wii Sports! And the podcast kind of falls apart without Osh... Boxing and Baseball are discussed, along with the accuracy of the Nunchuck accelerometer.

It's a 'Dad-free episode'! Osh and Sam play Wii Play, and discuss how it's basically a tutorial for every Wii game, whether or not it's meant for two players, and if the victory/losing animation on the home screen is a good way to lose friends. Also, not discussed in the podcast, did the cow racing mini-game inspire Yoshi's Wolly World? I mean, think about it!

Osh returns for a week and a half of "Wii" Games! Wii Party, Wii Sports and Wii Play are in the lineup. As the second NES game reviewed, we look at what seems to be at a first glance a tetris clone, but is truly different at heart. How will Sam and Dad react to this game? And seriously, Nintendo, WHY PUT STRESSFUL MUSIC ON A PUZZLE GAME!?!!?? Note to anyone who will ever play the original Dr. Mario, don't use FEVER music.
