Three young investigators (early career researchers) share their experiences of working with the Osteoarthritis Initiative Data. (00:17) Michelle Yau, PhD, is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Musculoskeletal Research Group at Hebrew Senior Life, an affiliate hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, USA and is a member of the OARSI Young Investigator Committee. Her research focuses on identifying genetic contributions to OA and the role of bone metabolism in OA pathogenesis. (18:42) Jeffrey Driban, PhD, ATC, CSCS, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Rheumatology at Tufts University School of Medicine and a member of the Special and Scientific Staff at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, USA. The goal of his research is to explore novel biochemical and imaging markers to gain a better understanding of osteoarthritis and potential disease subsets.
