31/03/2020 Duration: 37minIn this interview, we talked about how to manifest with crystals and essential oils, as well as why it is so important to live in harmony with nature and respect the entire ecosystem. Created by nature, both crystals and essential oils have a high vibration and when they are paired together and combine with positive emotions, they are very powerful support tools for us to manifest our goals or dreams Manifesting relationship and abundance For example, for romance and love, many people may suggest rose quartz as the common go-to crystal, while Adam recommended Rhodochrosite, which carries a different energy and intensity that helps with relationships as well. 58. What can your archetype tell you about your romantic relationships?
17/03/2020 Duration: 22minToday we are going to talk about the implication your archetypes may have on your romance and long term relationships. This is part of my new podcast series "Becoming a Goddess", in which I talk about Goddess, Archetype, Hero Journey, Feminine Power and how they all tie in and help you to gain a deeper understanding about yourself and decisions pattern you have. Two weeks ago on my podcast, I talked about goddess archetypes and how they may influence your career choices and motivation. You may like to check that if you are thinking about changing your career or trying to improve your current situation. How our archetype may affect our romantic relationship? Imagine you have the Goddess Athena as an archetype, the ultimate strategist, most likely a successful businesswoman or someone who is highly accomplished in your career or study of choice. You aren't likely to find yourself attracted to someone who doesn't have a care in the world, uninspired or just living life through motion, right? Or as an

57. How to use your voice or play to heal your body, mind and spirit: Interview with Trish Watts
10/03/2020 Duration: 31minMy 3-year- old sings and dance at her childcare and at home every day. I can see that she loves to naturally express her emotions and add all kind of imagination into her "performance". She is so happy and free when she does that. I prompted me to ask myself: How often do we allow ourself to play, be goofy and be truly ourselves? When was the last time you sing out loud even when we don't really know the lyrics or sure about the exact melody? At what age we start to put that lid on ourselves, and no longer let ourselves to be free? In my interview with Trish Watts, we talked about how singing is so freeing and nurturing for us. Especially when we have sadness or suffering stored as pain in our body. Not only it is healing, but it can also help us to connect and appreciate another human being. We also talked about InterPlay, an improvisation-based group play that uses storytelling, singing, dance, movement and stillness. I love how it helps people to open up and be free with themselves in the proc

56. Which Goddess Archetypes Are You? How do they affect your career choices?
03/03/2020 Duration: 01h02minWhat is your Goddess Archetypes? First of all, you may ask what an archetype is. If you are a fan of Carl Jung, the Swiss scholar, psychologist and psychiatrist, you may be familiar with the terms such as archetype or collective unconscious. In my first book Goddess with Many Faces, I wrote about 6 Greek Goddess Archetypes: Athena, Artemis, Demeter, Persephone, Hera and Aphrodite. They are among the most well-known Greek goddesses in our popular culture, many of us are familiar with their images or myths. They each have a very distinctive archetypal influence. I want to revisit these goddesses as I now have more to share with you and as I am writing my second book called Being a Goddess. I am going to do this is as a multiple part series. Today I want to talk specifically about our career motivation and inner calling for women based on these goddess archetypes. How does your archetype affect your career? So here is the context, archetypes are our inner patterns, they reflect our unconscious choice

55. Becoming a Goddess: 3 Keys For Women Who Want It All
25/02/2020 Duration: 20minWhat does the word "Goddess" mean to you? Since I completed my first book, Goddess with Many Faces, I felt it was like the end of a beginning. As I completed the book, I knew I need to do a follow-up book that will help women to apply what they have discovered about themselves, their archetypes, their innate feminine power and wisdom, and take it another step further and apply them the context and practice of key areas of their everyday life. And that is how the idea of my current book, Becoming a Goddess was born. In the last few months, I have been doing a lot of research, learning and interviewing different experts and coaches, and that’s why I am doing this new series of the podcast "Becoming A Goddess". I want to share my insights and what I’ve learned from other coaches and experts in the field. A Goddess is the embodiment of an inspired and empowered woman, who is called to create a life she loves, to find success and joy in both her career and personal life, which includes healthy relation

A staggering 70% of those unhappy employees wanting to pursue a different career. If you feel unhappy artwork, you are not alone. So why is this happening? It may not come as a surprise that the three main contributing factors are: not-enough pay, office politics and work not being challenging enough. There are many studies or reviews out there that outline the reasons on top of the three factors I mentioned above. For example, lack of recognition or appreciation, inadequate of training & development and distrust of leadership seem to be some most common reasons. 45. Confessions of a Full-Time Working Mum: Is it for the better or worse?
11/12/2019 Duration: 20minRecently I had a weekend away with a few mums who have young children. We talked about all kind of things related to family life and career, and at one point, the topic of returning to full-time work vs. part-time work after maternity leave came up. All of them enjoy to have some days at home with their children and work part-time so that they can keep engaged with their own professions, but just not at full-time. Given the costs of childcare services in Australia, for many of us, it may not make a big difference whether you work full-time and place your child in a childcare centre or just part-time, especially if you have more than 1 child. I also know mums who prefer to stay at home full-time in the first few years so that they can spend most of the time with them as once they attend school, they won’t have that option again. It then daunted on me that I’ve never felt the desire to stay at home, even part-time, and I don’t know if it was because of my upbringing or personality. Knowing how our mind

Why I love to do my Year-End Review and Strategy Planning
27/11/2019 Duration: 29minThis is THE most important thing I want to do before Christmas. (Yes, before all the Christmas shopping and festivities kick in! :-) For me, this is not just some kind of business To-Do, I do that to reflect on both my personal life and work, most importantly, I keep it pretty simple and fun! What I have learned is that if I take an inventory of what happened this year and really look deep at some of my lowest moments, I rarely make the same mistakes again. The more I count my blessings and appreciate the good things in my life, there are more to appreciate and to be grateful for. It feels good and keeps me grounded. I remind myself of what really matters to my heart. I let go of things or people that no longer align with my values and beliefs. This year has gone by so fast if I don’t do this, I will feel the year has gone past me like a dream, and I haven’t really truly live through it. When I do my review, I savour and relive a lot of good memories. So here is how I do this:

How to get visible at work and at home
13/11/2019 Duration: 16minFor some reasons, the topic of “Getting Visible” has been popping up left right and centre with my friends, clients and colleagues last week. It daunts on me that the common issue here is that women tend to have a disadvantage in getting visible in our nature. It has been socialized and conditioned into our psyche that we need to take care of others first and so getting visible never seems to be our first instinct. However, it definitely affects our chances to get a promotion or pay rise at work. This is not because women are being discriminated necessarily, but if our work isn’t visible, and at the same time we are not proactive in asking for more, our boss doesn’t know our worth and what much we have been doing in the shadow. If you are running your own business, getting your product and services visible means strong marketing online and/or offline. So many women I know love to tirelessly improve their product or services, and they will keep learning and perfecting their craft and skills. But w

Reboot Your Life: Interview with Sophie Le Brozec
06/11/2019 Duration: 34minI am totally thrilled to share with you my interview with Sophie Le Brozec this week. Sophie is a Lifestyle Entrepreneur, author, blogger, mentor, mum and very importantly, an eternal optimist. She is passionate about helping others to get their best, happiest and most fulfilled life. Sophie is born British but she lived in several different countries and married a Frenchman (just like me!). She is currently based in Mauritius and working with women from all walks of life all over the world. In this interview, Sophie and I talk a lot about “Why" and “When” we need to get a new perspective and create a new chapter in life. Women in our generation often struggle with very similar things and here are some of the questions she gets from her clients all the time: “Is there all there is? Will life get better than it is?”, “How do I get the career or relationship I want?” or “How can I get more balance in my life?”. When we take a pause and look inward, we realize there are things that we may want to change,

Honour Your Cycle of Change by Working Smarter Not Harder
30/10/2019 Duration: 30minRecently I have been going through a big change within my body, which leaves me with very limited energy and it also triggers an avalanche of emotions. I feel so not-in control, physically, emotionally and mentally. If you are like me, who have been pretty healthy most of the time, we are somehow taking things for granted. What I expect myself to be able to accomplish in a day or how would I feel throughout the day will need to adapt to my new circumstances. Change rarely comes easy, yet it can be eye-opening. In my book Goddess with Many Faces, I talked about Women’s Cycle of Life, where we will inevitably go through different stages in life. We all go through changes physically, emotionally and spiritually as time goes by. I compared the stages of Maiden, Mother, Matriarch and Wise Woman to the four seasons, where we experience different wonders, challenges and growth in each of the seasons. For the last few years, I have been coaching women how to navigate and lean into their own changes,
