Getting Serious About Our CRM

Introducing The “Array Way”

There should be no “that’s just the way the industry does it.” For example, we bill our clients by ACH while most other businesses in our industry send an invoice then wait for a check to come in the mail with 60-90 payment terms. We set the expectation early with our customers and it’s not a problem because we did that. There are also things that we do culture-wise that are the “Array Way.” For example, we have unlimited paid time off. It sounds scary but with a few rules in place, it has gone over very well. If a Client Has an Issue, Pick Up The Phone

KPIs Will Help You Improve For The Better

These are numbers we track over time because we want to see improvement over time. About a year ago, at Array Digital, we had an issue with clients paying us on time. So we started to track late accounts receivable. When we first started tracking this, we were shocked that 20% of our revenue was late. That is not how business should work. Business Model Lessons You Can Implement

His fitness resolutions for the year are to train for and do well in the half ironman but also to get a 6-pack. This requires good nutrition. As he’s been focused on nutrition, he’s come across 2 fitness apps with great business models that have inspired him to create products of his own. The first app is called 6-Pack Abs in 30 Days. Each day, you click on the app and just press start. From there, it shows you exactly what to do with a countdown between each exercise. You do 13-21 exercises back to back. It only takes about 10 minutes and requires no thinking; it tells and shows you exactly what to do. The other app is called Romwod which he discovered when he used to do Crossfit. The problem was that these online sellers generally don’t give you all the information that you need requiring you to do additional research. If you do contact them, they’re slow to get back to you and you have to schedule a time to come and see the bike. It’s an inefficient process. He discovered a website called theProsCloset.com. Their business model is to solve the problem of buying a bike secondhand. They buy the bike from the individual, inspect it, fix it as needed, then list it with all the information you’d need to make a decision to buy. How You Can Retarget Website Visitors with Snail Mail

They give you a small piece of code that you can drop onto your website to track what users come to your website. That code results in the company looking up the IP address of the person that came to your website then finding the physical address from there. Create A One-Year Plan

Why We Think We Need to Hire 2 More Salespeople

We ended 2020 with about $2.35 million in annual recurring revenue. We want to get up to $3.5 million by the end of 2021. Writing A Book Is Easy. Editing It Is Hard.

He’s been self-employed for 11 years now and it took 8 years to break through the $1 million revenue per year threshold. He is often asked by new entrepreneurs how he did it.
