After years of getting frustrated, I decided to stop chasing balance. At the end of it, I realized I never actually wanted "balance" in the first place. There will be chapters and points in your life where work will take up more focus than your home life; the opposite applies too. Stop seeking balance. it doesn't exist the way that you want it too.
