Michelle Carter-Douglass is an African-American Author, Poet, Motivational Speaker, and a graduate of Youngstown State University. Ms. Carter-Douglass is a mother of four children (Patrick M. Douglass, Arlessa Douglass, Kailah Douglass, and Brialan Douglass). Her third born child passed away of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at five and a half weeks old. Her surviving three children have all co-wrote with their mother.  Both Patrick and Brialan are diagnosed on the autism spectrum disorder.  Michelle has overcome many trials throughout her life. She has survived bullying, domestic violence, abuse, and stalking.
