He became a positive influence in 2013 after leaving his label & rap group to become more inspirational. The same year he was also gunned down by one of the group members in a dispute over his faith. For 4 years now Surve has been serving rural communities all over the world, with outreach programs, food delivery for free, and currently building the brand Yahshua KiKs & Apparel which produces the YahKiKs the first faith-based sneakers & the first shoes designed for outreach purposes.
