For the first time since 1979, the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest won’t be hosted by the winning country. But, in the words of Sam Ryder, ‘it’s still Ukraine’s party’. Given the current war in Ukraine, the decision has been made to move the competition to the UK who came second in the competition. Applications are now open for host cities with Glasgow, London and Manchester leading the charge so far. With it all still to play for, Dermot and Dave were joined by Eurovision superfan Scott Reid who gave his take on potential locations for the big night and if it could end up on the island of Ireland.

In December 2009, Hussein and Hassan Benhaffaf were born in London conjoined from pelvis to chest. They were separated at just four months old, and have undergone more than 60 operations and procedures since. Despite their health issues, the two are ‘adrenaline junkies’ and keep their parents busy with trying out countless different sports including discus and javelin. With their sights firmly set on becoming Paralympians, Hussein and Hassan’s Mam, Angie joined Dermot and Dave to share her pride at her boys, and explain some of the difficulties they still face.

Less than 24 hours after that big win, Dermot and Dave had a chat with Jack O'Connor the manager of the All-Ireland winning team. Kerry defeated Galway yesterday in the All-Ireland football final on a score line of 0-20 to 0-16. Jack chats about how last nights celebrations went, the teams plans for the next few days and just how good David Clifford is!

Daisy Edgar Jones is starring in the most hotly anticipated book adaptation of the year ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ and had to endure some serious creepy crawlies during filming! Daisy spoke to Dermot and Dave about the difficult shooting conditions on the film, taking on another famous character from a book and why she'd be worried about doing a movie in her own accent!

Jamil Zayyad from the Royal Jordanian Falcons who gave us an idea of what it takes to become an aerobatic pilot

When most people are planning their wedding, it’s unlikely that they could imagine it turning into a fully fledged festival…and then an actual festival festival. That’s what happened to Galway couple Cormac Jennings and Sharon Sweeney. In 2019 when they married, they decided to use their farm to hold a wedding festival. The result? A marriage and the realisation that they were onto something special. In July this year, the couple held their first Livestock Festival with 35 bands, 2 stages, a host of other demonstrations and hundreds of attendees. Cormac joined Dermot and Dave to explain how it all came about, and if he’ll be repeating it for 2023.

It seems bonkers but there’s actually nothing more entertaining than sitting down and watching other people watching telly. Gogglebox may have initially seemed like it was a joke but it has become a staple of television both here and in the UK, and six years in, the Irish version is (we think) miles ahead of the UK version. And now, you can be part of Gogglebox Ireland! The search is on for new people to take part and producer David Noble joined Dermot and Dave to explain all including, what they have to take out!

They all say that Diarmuid has those magic hands! It's Thursday which means Limerick's favourite Chaaawklit seller Noni Considine joins Dermot and Dave. This week she's getting the hair done by celebrity gardener, Diarmuid Gavin.

Having lunch outside always seems like a good idea until a Seagull tries to rob your sandwich. For Dave's World, Dave brought us some random Seagull facts and he also plays a new tune that was devolved by food delivery company Deliveroo along with a Seagull expert to help deter them whenever you need to be left alone. There has been some suggestions that BMW are going to start charging customers to use the heat seating abilities of their cars. Yep, $18 a month for a warm car seat on a cold morning…we’re not against it… However, it’s part of a trend which sees car companies looking at different ways to make money. Jennifer Doherty from Donegal has done some pretty impressive things, including flying a plane and driving a rally car. But nothing has been more unique than effectively going to Everest on a whim. Last Christmas, she was surprised at her home by Donegal adventurer Jason Black who invited her to join him on a trek in May. Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Jennifer says ‘if I thought about it, I’d have talked myself out of it’. Instead Jennifer, who is blind, took to the footpaths and exercise bike and prepared for a trip of a lifetime. Jennifer joined Dermot and Dave to chat about the incredible experience and why she doesn’t think she’d have done it if she could see!
