In this role, Anamaria has partnered with key anchors in the neighborhood to address a variety of issues which include food security‬ via the partnership with Gloria Dei Lutheran Church to run a Second Harvest Member agency pantry and ‪mental health‬ needs via the partnership with Tulane University and Loyola University New Orleans to provide sliding-fee counseling services.     Dr. Lavie graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1983 and completed internal medicine residency at Ochsner and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Mayo, where he joined the faculty in 1989. Dr. Lavie is Professor of Medicine and Medical Director, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Preventive Cardiology; Director, Exercise Testing Laboratory; and Staff Cardiologist, Echocardiographic Laboratory at the John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans, Ochsner Clinical School-The University of Queensland School of Medicine and he previously served for 10 years as Associate Director of the Internal Medicine Training program.     Toni Bankston, LCSW, BACS serves as the Clinical Director of the Baton Rouge Children's Advocacy Center developing and implementing trauma-focused programs for youth impacted by violent crime. She also works with the The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, D.C. as Faculty and Global Trauma Relief Team Member in the U.S., Haiti, Israel and the Gaza territories. She is also the co-founder of the Mind-Body Center of Louisiana which furthers the mission of the CMBM in South Louisiana by providing ‪wellness‬ through ‪‎mind-body‬ skills to healthcare professionals and in response to disaster. Her 27 years as a child and family therapist has focused on trauma, particularly with exposure to trauma of disadvantaged populations including children and teens and homeless families.     Keith Werhan holds the Ashton Phelps Chair in Constitutional Law at Tulane University Law School, and is a ‪‎yoga‬ instructor at Freret Street Yoga. He teaches and writes in the constitutional law area, with a special emphasis on the First Amendment freedoms of expression and of religion. At Tulane, Keith offers a regular yoga class to law students, and each semester, he co-teaches a class on ‪mindful lawyering‬.
