Synopsis
Marilyn Yank has been a student of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, meditation, yoga, and movement arts for most of her life and a teacher for the last 15 years. She teaches Tai Chi as a Qi Gong practice of balance both as physical practice and as a body/mind /spirit practice for increasing body consciousness, reducing stress, and building internal strength and energy. She shares her understanding of Tai Chi and Qi Gong as paths to integrating body, heart and mind into one united whole. She refers to this integration as vertical/upright awareness. She is skilled in adapting her classes to reflect the needs and physical capabilities of the clientele. Marilyn is a certified teacher through the Institute for Integral Qi Gong and Tai Chi (IIQTC).
