He has been working on a very interesting project that is helping fight for literacy in a new way. He was hired by Educational Therapist, Bonnie Shaver-Troup, to create a variable font which allows each person to set the spacing of the words. Then he got Google to fund the project. We will talk about how he got this project and what they are hoping to accomplish by using variable type to teach people to read. I fell in love with the format but had to pay for each episode if I wanted to download it. I paid the monthly fee to keep all episodes up so people could access them but couldn't afford to download each episode. When Spreecast folded they allowed creators to download all past episodes, I jumped on it. I missed a few because of a technical error and a few others because of my error.
