Recording artist and author Jermaine Tolbert, A.K.A. Nate Calloway, joins me on Uncontained. Jermaine was on the verge of signing a recording contract as a member of the group 3D with singer and producer Pharrell Williams. Unfortunately, he had to walk away from the contract at the last second because he developed schizophrenia and had to take care of himself. With the stigma of mental illness he did not feel comfortable telling people why he had to walk away. Jermaine withdrew himself from friends, and even family.
