Continuing our coverage of the Tic Tac UFO incident, due to the recent bold claims by Ross Coulthart that have sparked major controversy in the UFO community, we bring you another interview from the archives where we spoke with several witnesses of both the Tic Tac and the Gimbal incidents. Gary Voorhis and Jason Turner describe the dramatic string of events that would ultimately lead to fighter jets being scrambled to intercept the mysterious, oblong-shaped object we've seen in the official Navy video released by the Department of Defense. Then, Matthew Roberts discusses the atmosphere on the USS Theodore Roosevelt when the other two DoD-released videos were filmed and how it was handled in real-time. In 1959, a 325th Bomb Squadron B-52, one carrying live thermonuclear bombs, was followed across Canada by a UFO. The object was tracked on radar and sighted visually. An interceptor was scrambled from a USAF base in Montana but despite closing to 4 miles, its crew failed to identify what the UFO was, as the latter quickly outran and out-climbed it. Air Defense Command were concerned about a potentially new threat to the safety of the Continental United States, as shown via messages sent at the time. Ryan tells the incredible story of Herbert Schirmer. On December 3rd, 1967, Schirmer, a twenty-two-year-old police officer, was driving down a desolate highway in Ashland, Nebraska. He approached a pair of lights that he believed to be a stalled vehicle. When he got closer, he realized it wasn't a vehicle on the road, but a craft hovering in the night sky. After a few moments, the craft shot out of sight and the officer returned to his station, noting the sighting in his logbook. But for Schirmer, there seemed to be a period of missing time between when he first saw the object and when he left the area. And when he finally recalled what had happened in those missing moments, the story became far bigger and stranger than first imagined, prompting the Air Force and Government to investigate. Presented in association with the Omaha World-Herald and including actual audio from Schirmer himself, this is the story of the abduction in Ashland.
