This week I catch up with Tyrel Rose to discuss a variety of topics. Rose is the Director of Content for Bowling This Month and and a USBC Bronze-Certified Coach. We discuss ways you can master lane play and why listening to your gut in bowling is not always a bad thing. We also discuss how axis control and changing your axis point is key if you want to take your game to that next level.

This week we catch up with WSU Shocker Head Coaches Holly Harris and Rick Steelsmith. We discuss both teams winning the 2021 National Championships. The coaches discuss how they approached the tournament and how they handle physical game coaching. We also get the coaches thoughts on the passing of Shocker bowler Melissa Peters.

This week I catch up with Mike Sinek to discuss the USBC OC being held in Las Vegas.  Mike is on the Storm Community Relations Team and manages Ft. Meade Lanes.  Sinek discusses his OC experience and shares his thoughts on the pattern.  Mike discusses layouts, surfaces and which bowlers may have success using urethane this year. 

This week we catch up with USBC Intercollegiate Singles Champion Petey Vergos and his coach at Calumet College of St. Joseph Mike Kubacki. Vergos talks about his preparation and win in Michigan and what led to him losing over 100lbs. Kubacki shares his thoughts on Petey's game and his biggest concerns after Petey lost all that weight.

I catch up with Jon Heimann team rep for The Bowlers Shoppe 1. His team is currently in the lead at the USBC OC. We discuss his teams' game plan and preparation heading into the event and what equipment looked the best for his team.

This week we catch up with Jeffery Mann & Madison Janack who both recently won the IBMA 2021 Storm Collegiate Bowlers of the Year. Mann and Janack discuss their time bowling in college and have advice for high school bowlers looking to bowl in college. We also hear about what Jeffery's plans are since he is graduating.

This week we catch up Matt Gasn to discuss his time bowling at Robert Morris University. Gasn talks about his time bowling in college and his teams' mindset. We also discuss this USBC OC with Matt and how his team approaches the event.

This week we catch up with University of St. Francis Bowling Coach Tony Talley. Talley talks about how his team is preparing for the USBC Intercollegiate Team National Championships next weekend. Talley also shares his new recruiting philosophy and talks about the bowlers he is looking to bring into his program.

This week I chat with two-time USBC Eagle winner Mike Shady with the USBC Open Championships set to begin this week in Las Vegas. We discuss the mental side of bowling the yearly event and if anything should change mentally due to some of the tournament changes. Shady also shares his opinion on any possible changes bowlers might see this year regarding the oil pattern and if less lane play means bowlers can get away with bringing less equipment.

This week we catch up the University of Nebraska Head Coach Paul Klempa. Klempa joins us to discuss his teams recent NCAA win and how his team fought threw adversity to win. We discuss how he and new Assistant Coach Shannon Pluhowsky instantly clicked.

This week we catch up with Chris Via. Chris recently won the U.S. Open and bowled in college at Notre Dame College. Chris opens up about his major win and why the Fast Pitch was his ball of choice on TV. We also talk about his time bowling in college and how his mental game has evolved through the years.

This week we discuss some of big college bowling tournaments leading up to the ITC's next month. We spend time discussing Steve's trip to Reno for the USBC Masters. Steve shares his tournament experience and overall experience of Reno.

This week I catch up with PWBA star Lindsay Boomershine to discuss her time in the PWBA bubble and upcoming tour. We also discuss some of the great things happening at H5G and how they are helping high school and college teams.

This week I catch up with Chuck Gardner to discuss this life and legacy of Mo Pinel. Pinel passing away late last week. Chuck discusses the impact Mo has on the bowling industry and how he will for many years to come. We also discuss the drilling techniques and inventions Mo played a part in and his role with Brunswick.
