Gospel and Politics (Pt.2 - A Time to Resist)
13/01/2019 Duration: 33minRomans 13:1 is a conveniently frustrating passage for some Christians, especially when their political party is NOT in power. If you lean to the political left, and the right is in power, chances are you’re a little more embracing of the idea of resisting the government (and vice versa). So, the question is, “Is it every appropriate for followers of Jesus to resist the government in a non-violent-protest-kind-of-way?” Well, it may be surprising to you that the answer to that is, “Yes”; the real question is when and how resistance should happen.

Gospel and Politics (Pt.1 - Who Would Jesus Vote for?
06/01/2019 Duration: 29minOur political differences have now come to define us even more starkly than our spiritual convictions. There’s name-calling, trolling, and demonizing of anyone who opposes our point of view, and we have entire TV networks and radio personalities that stoke that fire on a daily basis, sometimes hourly. So, in this two-part series, the question we want to ask is, “What does Jesus think of this?”

The LIGHT - Pt.3 (Receiving the Light)
16/12/2018 Duration: 32minToday, in part 3 of our series, we recognize that NOT everyone is a child of God. That is a shocking statement for many to hear. We’ve grown up thinking, “Everyone is a child of God.” Right? We are God’s children in the sense of our origin. But NOT with regard to relationship.
-
The LIGHT - Pt.2 (Primary Purpose)
09/12/2018 Duration: 24minSo many people settle for less in this life; they’re content with the ordinary. But God offers us excess life. Life upon life. Life added to life. Find out how to have such a life in part 2 of our advent series.

The LIGHT - Pt.1 (Light Triumphs Over Darkness)
02/12/2018 Duration: 26minOur focus throughout Advent is Jesus as the LIGHT. Believers have sometimes wondered if the light of the gospel could somehow be extinguished; especially as they saw their numbers marched off to martyrdom; or worshiping in secret in the underground Roman burial spaces (catacombs); at best, regarded as “the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world” (1 Cor 4:13). That’s how many in our culture now view us. But despite the unfashionable state of our message, the light will triumph. Jesus will triumph, along with all those who believe in him.

Corinth Pt.10 - The Question of Divorce
18/11/2018 Duration: 34minWe’re wrapping up our series in Corinthians with a discussion on divorce because Paul is answering several questions the Church had written to him about. There was apparently a revolving door of marriages in that congregation where people had divorced their spouses for every and any reason and remarried. So they had questions like: "On what grounds can I divorce my spouse?" "What if my spouse is not a Christian?" "Or what if they leave me because I became a Christian, should I divorce them then? Can I get remarried?" "If I was inappropriately divorced and have remarried, should I end this marriage and go to back to my first spouse?" These are questions that are still being asked today!

DOWNLOAD PRAYER GUIDE
12/11/2018 Duration: 03minClick the "LISTEN" link ABOVE to HEAR a devotional song written for seasons such as this. WHY ARE WE PRAYING AND FASTING? One of the key components of our vision at Grace is to expand the footprint of Christ’s Kingdom throughout northern NJ by planting churches, establishing multi-site venues, and partnering with other like-minded churches. You may be aware that Bethlehem Church in Randolph has faced significant challenges over the past couple of years. The Elders of Bethlehem Church recently approached us and asked about the possibility of joining their ministry to Grace. Last week our Board of Elders, as well as Bethlehem’s Board voted, unanimously to explore the possibility of becoming one church in two locations. In order to explore this, there will be meetings, discussions, focus groups, and consultation with experienced professionals to help guide us through this process. No decision has been made, other than to explore this possibility. Any decision to join together will require a vote of
