Musical front man Nathaniel Johnstone, the husband of Tempest Zakroff, joins RevKess and KaliSara for a converstaion about steampunk and Pagan music and how it impacts his life. Nathaniel used to play with Abney Park and has gone "solo" with his own band and the creative collaboration that can go along with that. All around the globe civil rights, human rights, are under attack. From the witch hunts in South Africa to the police brutality in the United States; from anti-abortion fanatics to anti-gay activists. All around us we seem to be slipping down the hill away from the civil rights that many of us in the North American continent and Western Europe have begun to take for granted. Examples: A recent "Repell Shell" demonstration in Portland, OR resulted in the removal of the "anchors" for the repellers, leaving those dangling from the bridge at great risk. The NYPD recently beat a gay man in his front yard while calling out "faggot". Anti-abortionists are creating lies to try to get Planned Parenthood defunded, potentially stripping women of lower income the means by which to obtain birth control. These are just a few examples.
