Nebraska NaNoWriMo liaison, Lisa Kovanda, joins KaliSara and RevKess for a talk about the National Novel Writing Month. Lisa is a published author, screenwriter and long time participant in NaNoWriMo. She is also a paranormal investigator.

In a rare edition, RevKess and Zaracon are broadcasting for the second time in a week. This edition will cover some of the election results from the United States election. RevKess and KaliSara are huge proponent sof thinking for yourself. It may sound hypocritical of them to have a show that shares how you can learn to think for yourself, but they ask the lsitener to have an open mind.   During this episode they will talk about the differences between dogmatic theology and personal theology. How you can be part of a traidtion and still think and act for yourself. They will also talk about some of the sources you can use to develop your own views on not only religiona and spirituality, but on politics and social interactions.

KaliSara is joined this evening by Peter Beckley of That Witchy Place. RevKess is out in Colorado celebrating Samhain with his Mother Coven and the handfasting of two dear friends of the Pagan-Musings Podcast Channel.   KaliSara and Peter will discuss Samhain history and tradition as well as take a look at Samhain from a more Modern perspective. Even in living memory, Samhain's observance and celebration has changed and evolved. Many times KaliSara and RevKess have talked about knowing where you food comes from. They have connected gardening and even grocery shopping with living your path and being a spiritual person. In this episode they will talk about the idea of "sacred slaughter", providing your own food for yourself, your family, and for your spiritual well being. From hunting to butchering your own food; from gardening to harvesting your own food, knowing where your food comes from and how you can correct the negative aspects of how that food is produced can benefit a person and a family immensely.

Too much music to do justice to on any of the talk programs. This edition of Musica Pagani will showcase some of the new artists for October - instrumental and vocal.

RevKess and Zaracon bring the Pagan Weekly News every Monday evening. News, views and interviews from the Pagan community and discussion of mainstream news from a Pagan perspective.   This week: Science and politics. An alarming number of politicans on the House Committee for Science have strange and unrealistic views on what science is. We'll also take a look at some of the recent discoveries that have an impact on the Modern Pagan community. Later in the show a look at the VP Presidential Debate and a peak at the second Presidential Debate.

On October 6th and 7th, RevKess and KaliSara attended Mystic Fest 2012 in Omaha, NE. One of the Midwest's largest new age and metaphysical vending events, Mystic Fest is hosted by Next Millennium in Omaha. RevKess and KaliSara were there this year just as Pangaia Metaphysical Store. They did a lot of networking and lot of sales. Tonight, they will talk about some of their impressions from the event about community or the lack there of.

  Due to some health issues, Zaracon has placed The Zaracon Show on hiatus for the month of September. To fill its place on Sundays, RevKess has stepped up to the plate with his concept idea for a variety show. The show format will change from week to week. One week may be music, the next may be book talk, there might even be an interview thrown in somewhere. (Show has been moved to 2:30 Central to accommodate RevKess's growing terrestrial radio schedule.)   Rest assured, Zaracon is only taking some well deserved and much needed rest. He will be back in October unless the Gods tell him to take a longer break. In the meantime, there will be the occasional posting of one of his earlier shows from before he merged the Zaracon Show with the Pagan-Musings Podcast Channel.
