Chris Dedman Television Personality, Speaker, and Near Death Survivor a native of Lexington, Kentucky has been researching and investigating the paranormal and near death experiences for many years. About the NSH Dr. Nickerson & Betsy Snead built the beautiful Antebellum home circa 1835, however the original log portion of this historical haunted Nickerson Snead House was built in the 1700s by Francis Kincannon. Kincannon used the property as a fort during the Revolutionary War and the French and Indian War. This magnificent home was used as a Civil War field hospital and the cellar was used as a temporary morgue. After Nickerson and Betsy Snead passed away the property was sold to the Mason family who owned the Antebellum from the late 1800s until the late 1980s. Gayle J. Beatty I am a wife and mother of four, I live in Dutchess County, New York. My first encounter happened when I was solo camping as a teenager up on Stissing Mountain. Back then, I had never heard about Bigfoot and had no idea what was making these horrific screams so close to my tent. It wasn't until years later after watching Finding Bigfoot, that I made the connection, that's what a Bigfoot sounds like! I decided to google Bigfoot sightings in Dutchess County, ant the first one that came up was a daytime road crossing, by two women on Lake Road, which is the same road I lived on. From that day forward I was hooked!  I began investigating in 2011, and formed my group called Bigfoot Researchers of the Hudson Valley in January of 2012.
