At Duke, he was a second-team all-American his sophomore year, and a first-team all-American his Junior and Senior year. He also won the Donald MacLaughlin Jr. Award for the Nations top Midfielder as a Junior and Senior. He also won two national championships during his time at Duke.Myles was selected first overall in the 2016 MLL draft by the Atlanta Blaze. During his time at Albany Coach Marr has coached two Tewaarton Winners, 29 All-Americans, 6 Tewaarton Finalists, and 8 America East Players of the Year.In 2017, Albany’s offense ranked as high as #4 in the nation for the second straight year. Albany is currently the 2 seed in the 2018 NCAA tournament. They play Richmond on Saturday in the first round.Coach Marr is a graduate from Johns Hopkins. He started his coaching career at Delaware. He then moved on to be the assistant coach for Dick Edell at Maryland for six years before moving on to the Head Coaching job at Albany.Whether Coach Marr knows it or not he had a major impact on my lacrosse career when I was a camper at Maryland Lacrosse camp. Kevin shares how he was able to go from a small high school as a player who did not specialize in lacrosse into working his way onto the field as a starting attack. As a senior, he worked his way to winning the award for the nation's top attackman, the same year Lyle Thompson won the Tewaaraton as an attackman in Albany.He shares his thoughts on the MLL compared to the NCAA in terms of pace, coaching, and how fun it is for spectators by comparing his experience as a player in both systems. Ryan Moran: GameChanger
17/04/2018 Duration: 57minCoach Moran is on his second season as the Head Coach of UMBC Men’s Lacrosse. He started off his coaching career at Navy Prep. From there he moved back to his alma-mater as the offensive coordinator at Maryland. HIs offense averaged 11 goals / game over his 6 year period. His next move was to Loyola where in 2016 his offense average 12 goals / game. In June of 2016 he took over at UMBC for Coach Zimmerman after 23 years.Joe Yevoli spoke with Coach Moran two days before their victory over an undefeated and #1 ranked, Albany.
