Today on the show we have the head coach of Penn State University Men’s Lacrosse, Jeff Tambroni.Coach Tambroni is a graduate of Hobart University. He was the 2009 DI Coach of the Year. He was the 2011 CAA Coach of the Year and was an assistant coach for the 2014 Men’s National Team.Coach Tambroni has coached for eight seasons for the Nittany Lions. He ranks ninth among all active coaches in win percentage. Before coming to Penn State Coach Tambroni spent 10 seasons as the head coach at Cornell University. Today on the show we have the associate head coach of Denver Lacrosse, Matt Brown.Coach Brown graduated from Denver University where he was a four-year starter for the pioneers. During his time at DU he accumulated 137 points - that’s the sixth-best in Pioneer history. He’s also fourth all-time for goals.Coach Brown started as a volunteer assistant coach in 2007. After three seasons under the former coaching staff he was asked to join on as an assistant coach when Coach Tierney arrived. During his time at DU the Pioneers have reached Championship weekend five times and won the national championship in 2015, the first ever in the history of the program. In eight seasons his offense has been consistently ranked in the top 10 in the nation, ranking as high as No. 3.He was an assistant coach for the Canadian National team and the offensive coordinator for the Under-19 Canadian Men’s Field team. Today on the show we have Kyle Harrison.Kyle is a graduate of Johns Hopkins. He was a three-time All-American and a three-time Tewaaraton Trophy finalist. He was the 2005 NCAA Player of the Year. He was a two-time midfielder of the year. He led Hopkins to a national championship in 2005 and he’s a member of the all-time Johns Hopkins team. He was the number one draft pick in the 2005 MLL draft. He’s been an MLL All-Star multiple times. And he’s been a member of Team USA in 2006 and again in 2014.Kyle and I played against each other in college and a little in the MLL. He started every game of his career while at Penn State. He was team captain his senior year. He holds the all-time save record at Penn State with 694 career saves.He’s been a 4-time MLL All-Star. He was Goalie of the Year in 2011, 2012, and 2015. He won an MLL Championship in 2015 with the New York Lizards. And, a silver medal on Team USA in the 2014 World Games.Drew and I were teammates for a short time on the Lizards.
