Romans 12:1-2 The key idea of Romans 12:1-2 is relationships. It speaks about our relationship to God and our relationship with others in the World system around us. And if we want to know God and others intimately, then understanding our relationships in these two areas is crucial to success!

Nehemiah 9:31 - 10:29 In Nehemiah chapter nine the leaders and the people prayed to God. In their prayer, they acknowledged God’s greatness, God’s goodness, and God’s grace. This message will be focused on the amazing grace God bestows upon His people.

Nehemiah 9:7-31 God's people were moved by the Word of God and began to pray. Last week, they began their prayer by acknowledging God’s greatness. But this week, the people will praise God for His goodness. This prayer will reveal three ways that God displays His goodness towards His people.

This Sunday, we take a look at Mark 10:13-16. One of the things about Jesus is that He regularly surprised, even shocked, people. This text is no exception. It may simply look like an endearing story of Jesus interacting with children, but there are very surprising elements in this story. You are encouraged to read this short story ahead of time and try to figure out what might have been shocking. This selection of scripture also sets the stage for our church’s annual foray into VBS. This simple text highlights why we, as a church, engage in such ministry.

Nehemiah 8:1-12 After the walls had been restored, Nehemiah called the people of Jerusalem to gather for the reading and teaching of God’s Word. By reading and hearing the preaching of the Word, it instructs us on how we should respond when we come to hear the Word preached.

Nehemiah 7:70-73 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 In Nehemiah chapter seven, the people were so grateful to God for His help in restoring the walls of Jerusalem and they worshiped him by generously giving an offering that expressed their gratitude. God’s people today are called by Him to express our gratitude and worship through thanksgiving.
