For over a century, surgery, radiotherapy, and systemic therapy have served as the mainstays of cancer treatment. An opportunity to further improve survival and quality of life for patients with aggressive solid tumors has emerged with novel locoregional therapies (LRTs)—in particular, tumor treating fields (TTFields)—a state-of-the-art, noninvasive modality associated with clear efficacy benefits and minimal toxicity. Currently, TTFields is approved for newly diagnosed and recurrent glioblastoma (GBM) and resectable, previously untreated malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) and is being further examined across a range of solid tumors with poor prognoses. In a new activity from PeerView, expert panelists use a mix of case-based instruction and high-level presentations of evidence and guidelines to illustrate the effective use of TTFields in the treatment of patients with GBM and
