Martha Baccchus started her non profit due to the fact she was the sole caregiver for her elderly mother who had dementia, as well as other medical issues for eight years. She wanted to empower families, as well as organizations about the concept of care giving. Until one is actually doing the tasks on a daily basis, one would never grasp the capacity of what it entails. Therefore, Martha facilitates support groups, conferences, educate families, churches and communities, as well as being a development coach for individuals. She also started Martha’s Place to have a platform to enhance, empower and inspire others to be a world changer.
