Cynthia L. Simmons is the mother of five and past president of Christian Authors Guild. She produces and hosts Heart of the Matter Radio each week to encourage women who seek the elegance of God's wisdom. A certified writing and media coach, Simmons has conducted writing workshops, led a writing conference for six years, and offers “Cynthia Chat” videos for young moms. In 2008 she was nominated for Georgia Author of the Year and speaks at events nationwide. "Cyndi" is fond of history and writes both historical fiction and nonfiction. Her novel, Pursuing Gold, shares how women can live through hard times by following God. She writes for Leading Hearts Magazine and Old School House Magazine. Combining history and Scripture, she ministers to women of all ages, but has a special place in her heart for young mothers and home school mothers.
