Join Michael Molthan weekdays for M2 The Rock to get real talk on solutions to addiction, alcoholism, and unmanageable habits. Joining Michael in the studio is Jeremy Eicke, Collegiate Recovery Program Manager at the Center for Students in Recovery and Andrew Byers, a student at UT Dallas. UTD's Center for Students in Recovery (CSR) came about as a result of growth and interest in Collegiate Recovery Programs (CRP) by Universities, starting as early as 1977 in Brown University. According to statistics, 90% of alcohol and other drug use problems start between the ages of 12 – 20. Young people who actively engage in a collegiate recovery community are more likely to maintain their recovery, which is why universities around the country are placing a high emphasis on creating such communities to attract students who require recovery services on campuses.
