I was given labels like “gifted” and “precocious” by teachers and counselors…labels that made me feel awkward and different and often alone. I found friendship with other kids who also possessed these attributes and we collectively seemed to have been born with knowledge and gifts that were not connected to our postnatal life experience but were sourced before being born into this lifetime.
