Syfy's DEEP SOUTH PARANORMAL (Wednesdays at 10pE) follows a bayou-based investigative team on a mission, taking on anything from swamp apparitions to haunted plantation houses and Southern voodoo legends. These larger-than-life characters become deadly serious when it comes to their investigations, which deal not only with the hazards of paranormal phenomenon, but with swampy natural dangers like gators, snakes, spiders, wild hogs, and mosquitos.Jonathan Hodges was born and raised deep in the country outside of Huntsville, Alabama, where he currently resides on the same land his great grandparents first owned. Hodges is known as the "man with the plan" as he applies science and inventive tactics to the group's investigations. Jon graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a degree in business, and even though he has a white collar desk job by day, his real passion is the outdoors and everything paranormal.
