In BATES MOTEL, the PSYCHO prequel series on A&E (Mondays at 10pE/P), the astonishingly flexible NESTOR CARBONELL plays Sheriff Alex Romero, riding herd over White Pine Bay, the unhinged drama's fictional setting.Romero is the "moral" center of the town, although morality is relative in this upscale human sewer. Imposing and discerning, Romero got involved in Norma Bates' life after an unfortunate incident at the motel early in season 1.
