The past decade has seen new insights into the cytogenetics, molecular genetics, and disease biology of myelofibrosis (MF), including the approval of first- and second-generation JAK inhibitors and newer evidence on using JAK inhibitors in conjunction with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT).
