ALOHA! Greetings from Waikiki Beach. As I sit here enjoying the beautiful weather and view of the ocean, I cannot help but think just how important it is to have ‘me time’. Yes - me time. The most important 'to do' that most of us put at the bottom of our list. Please do not forget how vital it is to nourish yourself. In order to serve others and be the best version of yourself, you need to take care of yourself. Recently, I spent 3 days alone in Tropical North Queensland where I spent my time meditating, swimming, reading, writing and practicing yoga. This solo retreat rejuvenated my mind, body and soul and allowed me to come back refreshed and ready to serve others. You may not have time for a trip but do not feel selfish taking a few moments out of your day to spend time with yourself. Alone time allows nourishment, time with your own thoughts, and the chance to find inner peace. How can we find moments of ‘me time’ in the day?
