Improving outcomes for patients with advanced urothelial carcinoma (UC) has been challenging, with many patients experiencing only short periods of progression-free survival after treatment with first-line chemotherapy. A game changer in many cancers, immunotherapy has provided new avenues for the cancer care team to help their patients with advanced UC live longer.
