When it comes to personal development, there are lots of ideas we can use to become the best versions of ourselves. The idea I share in this episode of the podcast is one of those. I was reminded of it recently when I watched The Tibetan Book of The Dead. This documentary film follows Buddhist monks as they perform the rites of passage for those who have recently died. Their goal is to help the consciousness of the deceased person either realize it's true nature, or find a good rebirth. The movie has some profound implications for we the living, and our own journey through life, most importantly the idea of letting go. Show Notes The Tibetan Book of the Dead is read to those who have died, to assist them in either waking up to their true nature, or finding a good rebirth. We can adapt the central idea from this book to our own personal development journey. While the idea is to help the individual who has died, let go, we can learn from this as well.
