Enhancing The Human Experience

Do you have a project you'd like to get done by the end of the year?  I do.  And because of this, I feel that now is a great time to remind ourselves of Parkinson’s Law.  With one month left in 2017, now is the time to pull out all the stops so we can finish the biggest projects on our to-do list by year-end. Parkinson’s Law states that; work expands to fill the time available for its completion. Sound familiar?  I don't know about you, but I know all too well just how true this law is.  I also know how detrimental being ignorant of this law can be to my productivity. If you happen to be a recovering perfectionist like I am, this law is a God-send.  Because, like anything else in life, being aware of it is the first step in improving. When we wake up to the fact that having more time will never make our project more perfect, we drop the charade and get down to business.
